Physical activity in any form releases endorphins (the feel-good hormones) that makes us feel better - even a 10 minute brisk walk can increase our mental alertness, energy and positive mood. However, our physical health is more than just exercising; amongst many things, it is eating well, drinking plenty of water, keeping good personal hygiene and positive sleep habits. If we have good physical health we will be able to work and perform at our best and this is also relates directly to our mental and emotional wellbeing. Read on!
