Be Resilient

The dictionary definition of resilience is the ability to withstand or recover quickly from difficult conditions. But the definition for me means to be able to stand back up again after being knocked down no matter how long it takes you. It means to fight for what you believe, no matter how many setbacks you get. It is important to know that there will be setbacks in your life, and everybody has them. It’s not about what the setback is, it’s about the way you overcome it. Here is an example of when I had to be resilient.  I had a cross country race and I was beaten. Initially I was very upset, but this motivated me to train harder and in the next race I won! So we should all be resilient and carry on persevering, no matter what happens.
